Hampton Inn & Suites Seattle/Federal Way

Found this strange stain on the back of one of our pillows. My husband and I were taking a nap in our room when he folded his pillow in half to see this. It looks to be some kind of mold to me? I’m not sure why this would be reused ever, it must have been a serious accident and malfunction by the cleaning staff I don’t know. The rest of the room was clean spotless so we were very displeased by this disgusting pillow/pillowcase being reused in our nice room. Also, I had guests over a couple night’s to have dinner and get some work done, well they parked in of course, guest parking and one of my guests had their vehicle broken into and stereo stolen amongst other things Despite those things, staff was helpful and kind and especially the front desk workers. I spoke to 3 of them and all 3 were some of the nicest hotel staff I have ever encountered. A younger gal who wore glasses, a middle aged women with redish hair I think, and a young man who was tall with long hair. I would give it another chance, and maybe warn guests to continuously check on their vehicles while visiting next time…. And double check the bedding before lying down !!

My experience here was terrible, no hot water because of the way it was designed, the manager told me that. I usually do a thorough checking the cleanliness of the room and under the furniture wwas dust and debris. For the continental breakfast there are homeless people there eating all the food. DO NOT STAY HERE and have a terrible experience like I did Dirty room Customer service No hot water (Just warm)

Stayed in room 508 for a week. Got attacked by bed bugs - I have over 80 bites! When I called the front desk they were kind and immediately changed my room. However, the room they put me into was gross. It had pink stains on the comforter like someone spilled a drink, and tape on the walls. When I attempted to grab breakfast one day, they decided to close early and the breakfast manager was raising her voice at folks trying to enter to get breakfast. The stay was fine up until that point, but the fact that I’m covered in bites, had to discard belongings, and never received a call back from management is incredibly disappointing.

This place was AWFUL! I am a diamond member and have stayed in many Hampton inns and this one was nasty. The room was so dusty it gave me an asthma attack! I couldn’t breathe the whole night. On top of that, when we first got there they “upgraded” us to a worse and cheaper room (no refund either)… and almost didn’t switch us to the room we payed for. On top of that, they refuse to give late checkout.. literally won’t give it to anyone- and no; the hotel wasn’t full. The lobby smelled like cigarettes and the freeway sounded like a wormhole it was so loud. The jacuzzi was GREEN! Like algae gross green. The only positive is they had nice TVs and the front desk lady was nice.

Stayed at this location in room 334 and it was far below our normal experience with Hampton/Hilton. We arrived to long lines at check in time at 3. We were told no rooms were ready, that they were behind on cleaning. Many guest were unhappy. We were very tired and on business travel. We waited an hour to check in. The room was very poorly maintained, dirty and worn. The old shower door was disgustingly dirty and falling apart with rusty screws. When touched the handle fell off scraping the top of my wife’s foot. The sink drain was mostly clogged. The top bed comforter was smelly and stained. We asked if there were other rooms and were told it was fully booked due to a sporting tournament. We could not find another hotel until Monday when we checked into the Courtyard next door. The first night got quite cold and no matter what we tried the heat would not come on. The thermostat read Error. The next day the maintenance man was able to make an alternate control work from the unit itself. When we checked out and again reported the problems the agent was very rude and said we should have said something. We did, and there were no other rooms and our real estate business took precedence. Do not recommend staying at this location. - see pictures. I’m writing this review from the Marriott Courtyard Next door. A completely better experience in total for only $15 dollars more a night. We are members of Hilton Honors and Bonvoy.

Construction nearby has affected the accessibility of the hotel but, once one arrives, the experience is a quite nice one. The staff is generally friendly and well-informed. The rooms are nicely sized and comfortable. I had only 2 minor complaints and they were quickly addressed. The complimentary breakfast has a good selection of options, and the coffee bar is better than most. I would definitely stay there again.
